The German Fridge and the Barese Skater: How Food Sharing Evolved in Bari
Why Bari's "Social Fridges" are a Model of Circularity In supply chain management, the "l ast mile " is often the most expensive. When it comes to food waste, this inefficiency is the exact point where surplus turns into trash. While many look for solutions in complex algorithms, a project in Bari demonstrates that the answer lies in decentralized, human-scale infrastructure. Avanzi Popolo 2.0 is a collaborative platform that activates local networks to redistribute food surplus.
